This doll was used by Mattel to create the Pow Wow Prairie Doll for the 1983 Barbie National Convention. The doll and box are the same for the convention release, but the fashion is swapped for an original Pioneer outfit and a convention sash. The doll was designed by Janet Goldblatt (a Mattel designer) and many of them have been signed by her. This convention doll was limited to 250 pieces.
