In addition to its US release, this doll was released in Europe under the name Dress Me Barbie (#5696). The European release doll was given as the Mattel gift at the 1991 National Barbie Convention in Omaha, Nebraska (the convention release is denoted with a sticker on the front plastic of the packaging).
