A first run of Fashion Play #7193 was also released in 1983 (with two of the same fashions from this second run) but the doll was different. A third run of Fashion Play #7193 with all new fashions (but the same doll as from this run) followed (still in 1983). The doll from this run and the second run have the Sun Gold Malibu face.
The number 7193 was used for an earlier Funtime Skipper doll and later for a 1987 Fashion Play series.
