This version of Pinkie Pie was released in 2008. She was released as a single in the Favorite Friends assortment, part of the 25th Birthday Celebration series. She was also released in an Australia exclusive bucket with Toola Roola and Scootaloo. She is a Dress Up Pony in the Twinkle Hope pose.
Some releases of Best Friends Pinkie Pie were identical to this release of Pinkie Pie. There are also several more versions of Pinkie Pie in the Twinkle Hope pose, and she was released in many other G3 poses. Pinkie Pie is also a main character in the G4 Friendship is Magic line.
