The Barbie Sparkles Eyes series was copyrighted in 1991 and released in 1992. The series includes Barbie, Barbie AA, and Ken. The ladies feature sparkle gem eyes for the first (and presently only) time. According to the Sparkle Eyes box, this makes them the “Prettiest Barbie ever!”
