This doll has two variations: one made in the Philippines and one made in Malaysia. There were also several foreign-release versions of this doll, some of which came packaged with an extra fashion and cassette tape.
In 1988, this doll was used for a table centerpiece by the hosting Barbie club at the National Convention (location: Seattle, Washington).
