Cherry Blossom was released in 2005 as part of the Butterfly Island series. Internationally she sometimes came packaged with a bonus baby pony named Sandy Island. She is in the Sunny Daze pose.
She also came packaged as a bonus with the Frilly Frocks Boutique. This set had two releases. In the second release, Cherry Blossom no longer has a hoof heart and has a white magnet cap instead of a pink magnet in her foot.
There are several other versions of Cherry Blossom in different poses in the G3 line. One was released in 2004 in the Sunshower pose, another was released in 2007 in the Sunshower pose, and another was released in 2006 in the January Carnation pose. Cherry Blossom was redesigned slightly and became Cheerilee later in the G3 line.
Cherry Blossom and Cheerilee both appear in the G4 line.
