Sparkleworks was released as a single in 2003. She was also bundled with either Autumn Skye, Butterscotch, or Star Swirl. She was also released in a Costco exclusive 4-Pack with Minty, Kimono, and Pinkie Pie. She also came in the Cotton Candy Cafe value pack. In 2004, she was released at Disney World dressed in Princess Aurora clothes. She is in the Sparkleworks pose.
The Cotton Candy Cafe set was later released a second time. This version of Sparkleworks has no hoof heart and a white magnet cap instead of pink magnet.
Three other versions of Sparkleworks were also released in other poses. One was released in 2004 in the Sunshower pose. The other two are both in the Sunny Daze pose, one a matte pony released in 2006, and one a sparkly pony released in 2003.
