Waterfire was first released as a single in 2005. She is a Shimmer Pony in the Butterfly Island series. She is in the Waterfire pose.
Also in 2005, Waterfire was released as a bonus pony with the Butterfly Island Adventure set.
In 2005, she was again released, this time with the Wonder Waves Surf Shop. This set had two releases. The first release had a Waterfire that is identical to her single release. In the second release, she has no hoof heart and a white magnet cap in her foot instead of a pink magnet.
