Megan and Sundance were released in 1984. They were released again in 1985, where Sundance was a So-Soft Pony and Megan wore a different dress. Both of these versions are in the Sundance Pose. In 1988, they were released a third time. That version of Sundance is Twice as Fancy with color changing hair and is in the Crumpet Pose. Megan is an entirely different doll. Sundance was also released in other countries where she was produced by companies other than Hasbro. These ponies are known as Nirvanas. I recommend the mylittlewiki website to view the different versions. To my knowledge, this is a list of the Nirvana Sundance that exist:
- Argentina (Tootsie Pose– orange glitter body with blue hair)
- No Country
- “China” Stamped (believed to be the same pony as No Country Sundance, but with a hoof marking)
