The first Mommy Charm was actually a Charmkin called My Pixie Pony. In 1983, a My Little Pony Fan Club kit came with a Mommy Charm named Powder Puff. In 1984, there were six bookmarks from McDonald’s. Twenty Mommy Charms were released in 1987-1988. They came packaged with regular sized ponies as free bonuses or as a bracelet mail order. In 1991, a Mommy Charm Sweet Scoops came with the Mail Order pony Sweet Scoops.
