Princess Taffeta was released in 1988 and is a Princess Pony. She came with a purple crown clip, yellow wand, aqua hair clip, and a pink ribbon with gold trim. She is in the Sundance Pose. To view other ponies by year/series, click here.
In the UK, parts of Princess Ponies were used with parts of other ponies (usually other Princess Ponies and Happy Tails ponies) to create strange variant ponies. These are known as Princess variants. A variation of Taffeta exists with a red jewel in her medallion and no tinsel in her tail. I recommend the MyLittleWiki website to view this variation.
