Banana Surprise was released in 1988 and is a Sundae Best Pony. She came with a purple ice cream barrette, purple comb, and a yellow ribbon. In the United States she was made in Hong Kong. In Mexico, Banana Surprise was produced by Auriken, a company other than Hasbro. This is known as a Nirvana. They produced Banana in her usual colors but also with a white body and dark purple hair.
