This doll has several variations. Her US release could be made in either Malaysia, China, or Mexico. The version made in Mexico is prone to losing color from the head, turning the face greasy and pale. There was also a French release of this doll.
In 1990, this doll was released as the hosting Barbie club gift at the National Convention (location: Dallas, Texas).
