This doll has several variations.  Her US release could be made in either Malaysia, China, or Mexico.  The version made in Mexico is prone to losing color from the head, turning the face greasy and pale.  There was also a French release of this doll.

In 1990, this doll was released as the hosting Barbie club gift at the National Convention (location: Dallas, Texas).  The doll is unchanged from her regular release but she wears a special cowgirl outfit.  She was limited to 460 pieces.  To see other convention dolls from 1990, click here.  To see all other Barbie convention dolls, click here.
